Our Foundation
FGV Microbial Culture Collection (FGVMiCC) was officially formed in 2012. We are located at FGV Innovation Centre (Beneficial Microbes), Bandar Enstek, serving as a cornerstone of microbial research excellence.
Our Function
We function as depositories for microorganisms and as libraries that hold comprehensive data on microbial materials. Our collection consists mostly of bacteria and fungus cultures related to oil palm and other crops within FGV interest.
Our Purpose
Cultures from FGVMiCC are used by FGV R&D researchers who need to ensure that the culture materials they are using are authentic and reliable for their research purposes. We guarantee the integrity and quality of every microbial strain in our collection.
